Welcome to my weekly Home Business Success Podcast

In the past few episodes we’ve talked about finding prospects, and the mindset you need to have before you start inviting, and we gave you some scripts to use for inviting people to take a look at your presentation.  We talked about your presentation and then how to follow-up.

Today we’re going to look at Closing and Getting Them Started Right.

So First Let’s Look At Closing…

It’s really not as scary as you think!

For the professional, closing is a natural byproduct of following up.  You’re going to follow-up, you’re going to ask some questions, and then attempt to close.

Remember you’re going to go from exposure to exposure to exposure.  If they’re not ready to close, then just move to the next exposure.

Your goal is education and understanding, rather than just getting someone.

Here are the steps you’re going to take after each exposure:

#1 – What did you like best about what you saw, heard, read…

#2 – Scale of 1-10, with 1 being you’re not interested at all, and 10 being you’re ready to get started right away…where do you see yourself?

#3  – Then these four questions.

#1 – Based upon what you’ve just seen, if you were to get started with this company on a part-time basis, approximately how much would you need to earn per month in order to make this worth your time?

#2 – About how many hours could you commit each week in order to develop that kind of income?

#3 – How many months would you work those kind of hours in order to be able to get you that $1,000/month income?

#4 – If I could show you how to develop an income of $___ per month, working ___ hours a week over the course of the next ___ months, then would you be ready to get started?

 How to Get People Started Right…

The best way to get someone started is with a game plan interview.  And then it will exactly the same for each person you get started.

There are 5 steps to the game plan interview.

1 – Validate their decision to become a Distributor.

2 – Set their expectations.

3 – Getting Started Checklist

4 – Create a fast-start game plan, which will help get them started and get them some quick success.

5 – End with specific assignments.
