Today, let’s talk about Handling Rejection. Some of us are better at it that others, but the truth is we all are going to have to deal with rejection in our business. In fact, if you’re not getting rejection, that means you aren’t enough effort into your business.
Yes, rejection can be tough, especially if you’re new in the business. No one likes to be rejected. The biggest problem is that we’re accustomed to staying inside our comfort zones, and rejection is outside of that zone where we are uncomfortable. But all of our dreams and goals are also outside that comfort zone, and so we need to find a way to stretch that zone.
We’ll talk about what No really means, and put it into perspective as to how it affects your business.
We’ll talk about some of the stories of highly successful people and the rejection they’ve had to overcome.
We’ll talk a little about the top earners in our business, and what makes them different than us.
We’ll talk about some sales statistics and a little about the process of a sale.
We’ll talk about how to get through the Nos, to get to the Maybes, and then to the Yeses.
We’ll talk about your closing ratios, and how to use them to your advantage.
We’ll talk about how rejection affects a brand new Distributor and what he should do to get over it.
We’ll talk about the different types of rejection and what they mean.
And we’ll talk about how to overcome the negative emotions by overwhelming them with positive emotions!
