Today, let’s talk about the importance of recognition in your business.
How do you keep your team members excited about their business when their income hasn’t started really pouring in yet?
The key is that they have to feel that they are progressing towards their goal. If they feel like their business is moving forward and growing, they will stick around and keep working on building. If they feel like they are stuck, they may give up.
But our business is more than just about the money. It is about success, winning, and appreciation. It is about feeling a sense of contribution, and being part of a team. People will do more of what they get recognized for.
So let’s look at some ways to recognize your team members and make them feel like they’re an important part of our team.
We’ll talk about why recognition is important, and some different ways to show recognition.
We’ll talk about two different contests to encourage activity – One being activity-based and the other being results-based. When to use one type over the other, and the benefits of each.
We’ll talk about what motivates people, and how it’s not always about the money. In fact, money really has very little to do with it.
