Building Your Business When You Have Children At Home
Moms are especially attracted to working from home while their children are babies and toddlers.
The opportunity to be home with them is more than enough incentive for most moms to figure out how to work while being home with them.
But figuring out how to work from home while also being a mom can be a challenge.
But no fear… Plenty of working moms and single parents have done it in network marketing. Ask the people in your upline. Chances are they know someone who can offer you some advice.
If you have small children at home, figure out how to work around their needs and schedules. Learn to fit your business into pockets of time – during naps, while children are busy watching Sesame Street on TV, etc. Sometimes more can be accomplished in four 15-minute pockets of time rather than trying to find a full hour that’s available.
Maybe you can trade childcare with someone in your neighborhood or hire a babysitter for an hour a day. Married moms may be able to work in the evenings when dad is home to watch the children.
If your children are older, maybe you can work while they are occupied with homework, a favorite toy, a game, or an educational video for a half hour at a time while you work. A cell phone can give you additional portability so that you can do several things at once.
Your network marketing business has the power to help you achieve your dreams if you allow it. The most important thing is to make your children your REASON for working your business, not your EXCUSE for not working it. Then you will truly be able to have the stay at home mom lifestyle you’re looking for!
