After all, the promise is that you sponsor a few who sponsor a few who sponsor a few, right?
Well, yes, that is how this business works. But not everyone you bring in is going to get to work and do something.
People join our business for many reasons. They have different backgrounds and different belief systems. Sometimes people really do join our business and then just never get started.
So, when one of your distributors drops off the face of the earth, what should you do? Actually, nothing!
To be successful in our business requires a few simple steps. Your new distributors have to show up and take daily action. If they aren’t doing these things, there’s really little you can do for them.
It’s natural to want to help them, and sometimes we get into the mindset of wanting to help them more than they want to help themselves. Please don’t allow yourself to go there! You should be there holding their hand and helping them get started, but only to the extent that they are willing to do the work. If they’re not willing or able, then you have to let them go.
Of course you’ll be there to support them when they are ready, and you never know when that might be. Just be careful about spending too much time with them until they are ready to get into action.
Your job is to be upfront with people about what your business will require to find success. Don’t promise them anything that is not true. Then do your best with each person on your team to show them how the industry works and how they can have the success they desire. Help them achieve some success as soon as possible. The rest is up to them, with your support and love.
