A Failure Is Not A Reason to Give Up

You’re not really ready to give up, are you?  If you feel like a failure and have nowhere to go, you are lying to yourself.

Stop, and look around.

You’ve told yourself some self-defeating stories about what your life should be like, what you should have already accomplished, etc.

These thoughts have created a space in your mind where you’ve begun to actually believe these things are true and that you’re living them.

But you’re NOT.

You live in a vast world of all kinds of possibilities.

Take time to remind yourself of this.  Go outside.  Look around at the sky and the clouds, and the trees.

This is the space where you live.  Breathe it in and be grateful for it.

There Are Two Ways to Accomplish a Goal

First – you need to constantly alter your approach, constantly testing out ideas and incorporating only the ideas that help your results and discarding those that don’t.

Second – You don’t stop until you reach your goal.  This includes ignoring feelings of discomfort or distractions

Success is Inevitable!

It is impossible for you to not reach your goal if you concentrate on the two points above.  It might take a long time or require a lot of sacrifice and struggle but, in the end, you will have what you want.

The Last Time You Gave Up On Something, It Was Most Likely For One of the Following Reasons

You weren’t pursuing something YOU really wanted –

There are all types of reasons why you might be doing this.  Some are because YOU want it, but sometimes it can be because someone else wants it for you and you do it to make them happy.

You were afraid to succeed –

Many people have limiting beliefs that cause them to be unconsciously afraid to succeed, and so they keep themselves in a state of failure.  For instance, you don’t apply for a fantastic job opportunity you know you are qualified for because you don’t want to alienate yourself from your current friends by earning twice their income.

So take a look at your goals.

Stop wasting your time and energy on things you won’t (or don’t really want to) succeed at.

Before committing to a new goal, consider why you want to do it and determine if there are any reasons why you might self-sabotage.

If you find any issues that will keep you from achieving success, handle the issues first or decide that maybe this isn’t what you really want.

Look in your heart to see which side of the issue is the right one for you.

Once you know in your heart that this is the dream you want, then go all in and commit to failing as many times as needed until you achieve the success you were looking for.
