Get The Word Out And Tell Someone

Now that you’ve started your business, it’s time to get talking – get the word out and tell somebody about your business!  After all, word of mouth advertising is what we get paid for.

So pick up the phone and call your friends. Walk down the street and talk to your neighbors.  Get online and send an email to the people that you know.  Talk to the person behind the counter at the grocery store or at the mall.  Be bright and cheerful and spread the word about your new business.

Even if you still feel a little green, or like you don’t quite know what you should be doing, just step up and start talking.

Some of the people you talk to may want to join you or at least become a customer of your products and services.   At the very least, they should congratulate you for starting your own business.

Just keep building those relationships.  As time goes by, someone will want to know more about your business opportunity.  And it’s because of the relationship they have with you that they will be open to hearing about it.

As soon as you’ve told the first person about your business you’re on you way!  You may not make a sale right away, or even for a couple of weeks, but you’re on your way regardless.

If you continue to follow the system that your company has designed for your success, the first sale will come… and it will be followed by many more!

p.s. Be generous with what you know. Go teach people. Start a blog. Write one post a week teaching people what you’ve learned along the way of your struggle. Help them leave with something they can use today to get better at something. Use a good story to get your point across. Invest in helping other people, and you’ll find you have a lot more people paying attention to what you’re doing.
