Does No Really Mean No?
Sometimes a prospect may initially say No to the business.
But No can often mean, “I need more information.”
If they say they don’t want to join you, don’t say, “Why Not?”
Instead, keep listening.
If you let them talk they will continue to explain their opinion while you are listening and preparing your responses.
Sometimes No Means That It’s Just Not A Good Time For Them Right Now
In that case, you’ll want to say something to the effect of, “If circumstances change and you decide you want to join, the door is open for you. I will be here for you.”
Don’t be afraid of a No response.
Remember, your prospect is not saying No to you personally.
They could be simply disputing something they don’t like or that they are questioning about the opportunity.
If they say No, you say, “Is that the only reason?”
Sometimes excuses may be based on the prospects state of mind at the time or fear of success or failure.
They might lack self-esteem or understanding.
They may not have the courage to just give it a try or they might just not want to put forth any effort into a home business.
When they tell you their excuse, whatever it is for them, just say, “Is that the only reason?”
If it isn’t, wait and they will tell you their next reason.
If They’re Not Interested, Let It Go
It really is no big deal.
You are the person your company pays to move product.
You are sharing what is possible because you are the advertiser for your company.
It’s no big deal if someone says No Thanks.
Please don’t beat yourself up about it.
Work on your skills and your presentation and get back out there and offer it to the next person.
You will find the ones who are interested. And they are the only ones you want.
