It doesn’t matter how small or large your business is, it’s still a business so treat it like one. If you treat your business like a hobby, that is what it will become, and hobbies cost money. If you treat your business like a business, it will grow and grow until it becomes a large business.
Work on being professional in your business. If your company provides CDs or DVDs, spend the money to get the originals to pass out to people. Do not make photocopies of recruiting materials or copies of the CDs and DVDs. What kind of impression are you giving out when you do that? It is your responsibility to show that you are a viable business and your appearance and the appearance of your sales tools are a part of that.
Be sure to follow up on leads and return phone calls right away. Maintain that professionalism every day. Keep your word. Your word is very important as that is a direct indication of you and your business. Remember that people join people who they know, like and trust. If you want to attract successful people, then you need to become that person first. If you appear to be a hobbyist, that will be who you attract.
Work your business consistently. Our business is built one person at a time. Day by day, week by week… there is no shortcut to building a strong business. Everything depends on consistently prospecting, developing and coaching people. Once you find your first recruit, and then your next 4 or 5 or even 12 recruits, and then one of those gets a recruit, you will find MLM addicting! Work a little every day. Don’t let a single day go by without doing something to move your business forward. Set your goal to the top of your pay plan. It may feel like you’re moving really slowly at times, but when a couple of months go by and you look at your business and see how far you’ve come you’ll be surprised! Then you’ll be glad you’re in the MLM profession and you’ll know without a doubt that you do have the greatest opportunity in the world!

p.s. Everything you accomplish in your home business, every achievement you make, is going to be based on what you put into it. If you treat your business like a full time multi-million dollar business, that is eventually what it is going to become. If you quit the minute things start to get a little tough, then maybe this isn’t the profession for you.
If you are happy in a business, that is great. If you are looking for the right business with a marketing system already in place that works; the right mentor; something you can build online, I would love to share what I am doing with you. Click here and let’s explore the possibilities.
